Finland is a lovely country bursting with whimsical wilderness, charismatic cities, and plenty of Scandinavian culture. After a visit to Helsinki, I had the exciting opportunity to attend the Global Forum held in Oulu, Finland. I followed this up with a trip to Finnish Lapland to hunt the aurora borealis north of the arctic circle. Here, I was delighted by the opportunity to meet arctic husky sled dogs, wild reindeer, and the real Santa Claus in his very own hometown of Rovaniemi.
