Did you know there are EXOTIC animals at Lazy 5 Ranch in North Carolina? Yep, just 30 miles north of Charlotte you can visit and feed giraffes, zebras, burmese cows, camels, llamas, pot-bellied pigs, rams, deer, sheep, and a delightful ostrich. While the piglets are cute and the giraffes are a pleasure to feed, the giant Burmese cows steal the show with their 3,000 lb enormous presence.
And while they may not be exotic, and they may not be typically wild, the absolute BEST animal friends you can find at the Lazy 5 Ranch are the baby farm cows- in beautiful shades of chocolate, silver and dark cocoa.

The cow babies and all the other animals are an absolute delight to visit with on a sunny afternoon in North Carolina and was a fantastic way to teach my 2 year old nephew about loving animals- besides the puppy filter on Snapchat 😆
