EL NIDO, PALAWAN // PHILIPPINES ISLAND HOPPING TOUR + FALLS

El Nido, Palawan is a top destination in the Philippines known as ‘the most beautiful island in the world’ for its exciting island hopping tours. In Part FIVE of my Philippines Vlog Series I begin the adventure by taking you to the Kuyawyaw Water Falls, a ‘locals spot’ that can be accessed after a bumpy 40 minute tricycle ride from El Nido town.

Once you arrive there is a small entrance fee, and your tricycle driver will lead the way to the falls. Rather than paying for a simple ride to the falls, hiring a driver gets you a full tour because they have to remain on site to facilitate your return. The cost of this adventure is $1,500 peso or about $30 USD.

Our driver was very helpful in not only showing us the waterfall secrets of the locals, but helping along my 6 year old friend, Emily, who travels with her Mum, Evie. They have been traveling around Asia for 9 months now and sharing their adventures on travel blog- MumPackTravel.

After our day at the falls, we all gear up for our big island hopping adventure on El Nido. Our top choice is the world famous Tour A, which visits Small Lagoon, Shimizu Island, Secret Lagoon, Big Lagoon, and Papaya Beach. All spectacular spots and perfect examples of the natural beauty you’ll find while traveling the Philippines.

Actually, it typically visits 7 Commandos beach, but I believe because of our afternoon weather we changed up the route a bit.
