Today I have another Colorado travel vlog featuring another AMAZING Colorado wedding! This time we’re in Breckenridge exploring the small ski town, hanging out at the beautiful mansion where the wedding was held, and catching up with family and friends.

We took this trip back in June (last month) and it was Ella’s first plane ride! She has a lot of firsts in this video, and we realized that traveling with a baby allows you to really see all the new things through her eyes. Like pine trees and wild foxes!

This was also Ella’s very first scenic overlook.

Immediately after this magical moment, she saw her first real live choo-choo train! Although I traveled to Colorado the year before while I was pregnant with her, I suppose this was Ella’s first actual wedding as well. She was thrilled to meet the beautiful Bride- Aunty ReRa, who is one of my very best life long friends / sisters 😄

This Colorado wedding was exceptionally beautiful because it utilized the natural landscape to create the most stunning setup.

It was a small event, held at an AirBnB outside of Breckenridge. This can be a fantastic way to host an event as you can have your closest attendees stay in the house with you, and everybody can help to make the evening perfect!

Enjoy $40 OFF your first AirBnB booking.

My absolute favorite part about this wedding was the gorgeous flower arrangements. Rather than spend thousands of dollars with a florist, the bride simply stopped by Trader Joe’s and picked up a few hundred dollars worth of ‘wildflowers’ complimented by a few more formal roses. Us girls spent the evening before the wedding trimming the stems and arranging them in various vases. The results were spectacular as you can see!

As for filming, I was definitely juggling a LOT at this wedding between caring for Ella and being an attendee, so I wasn’t able to focus much time on creating video. However, I found a few moments to bring out my Canon fixed 50mm lens and get these shallow depth of field shots of the flowers. This lens is a great investment for a budding filmmaker since it’s only $125 and can offer up some very artistic looking shots.

Brian also got a chance to have some fun with the drone. We’ve missed our Monkey Boy and are absolutely going to take him out again this weekend back in Florida. The problem here in Pensacola is there is so much Class C airspace between the commercial airport and the abundance of military. Personally, I think Brian should just get an ‘all access’ pass to airspace if he wears his USN flight suit while flying the drone 😆

Fortunately, it was no problem out in the wilderness of Colorado
