The Underground River of Puerto Princesa is one of the most popular and exciting places to visit in the Palawan Islands of the Philippines.

PUERTO PRINCESA UNDERGROUND RIVER

UNDERGROUND RIVER PALAWAN PHILIPPINES

Puerto Princesa’s Underground River was named a UNESCO world heritage site and is considered a protected area within the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park. The drive there from Puerto Princesa is about 2 hours and the tour took a full day with the added bonus of a Mangrove riverboat ride to fill out time between registration and departure.

Join me on a riverboat tour of the dark and drippy underground river, with mysterious rock formations and wild bats flying about in this fourth of my Philippines Travel Video series on AMaeTV.
